An addition install notation

The following steps are required after successful CAC reader installation.
Making certificates available to your Internet Browser:
1. Once ActivIdentity software is installed,
2. Start > All Programs > ActivIdentity > ActivClient > User Console.
When user console opens, place your CAC in your CAC reader.
select the tools menu > advance > make certificates available to windows.
Select ok at window.
3. Open Internet Browser (Prefer Internet Explorer)
Go to a DOD web-site.
A pop-up box asking for what certificate to use will open.
Select certificate (prefer EMAIL) and then "OK".
If is asks for a Master Password, that is your 7-digit personal PIN number
