Permanently Uninstall the AVG 8 Toolbar

To permanently remove the tool bar, you will need to uninstall AVG - then reinstall, but choose some other options rather than the default options pre-clicked for you. Here are the steps;


1. Step 1

   Close all browser windows.

2. Step 2

   Click on "Start" and highlight and click on "Control Panel."

3. Step 3

   Click on "AVG" when the programs list opens, and click on "Remove."

4. Step 4

   Complete the steps to uninstall the AVG anti-virus

5. Step 5

   Restart your computer when the uninstall is complete.

6. Step 6

   Go to the AVG website and download and re-install the AVG anti-virus program. When you are installing, a screen will come up and ask you if you want to install the toolbar or not. At this point, do NOT check the box to install the toolbar, and continue the installation.

 I could not believe it either.

Found a website that does not require any software or downloads.The website converts nearly any file you have to any format you want.....for free! Pictures, video, anything to anything!

I tested the site and gave it the ultimate hardest test I could....and it passed.

Not only did I have it convert ELEVEN Quicktime (.MOV) files that were 10 MB each.....to .WMV.....but I also had the program COMBINE all ELEVEN into ONE SINGLE File!!

That was a 110 MB Upload to the website which in turn, converted and provided me my single .WMV file for download.

Please use your PAUSE button to catch the details because the video goes quick.  I ran it 3 times to get the detail setting right.
